Diego Garcia is the Key to Finding Missing Malaysian Airliner

I have tweeted several days ago about the crucial importance of the massive US Base at Diego Garcia in the middle of Indian Ocean to locate missing Malaysian Airliner. There is a Naval base & an Airbase located there as well as a massive listening post, monitoring communications throughout the region. The value of Diego Garcia has been proven many times, with the island proving to  be a “fixed aircraft carrier” for the United States during the Iranian revolution, the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Possible Path of flight MH307

The United States military facilities on Diego Garcia have been known informally as Camp Justice and, after renaming in July 2006, as Camp Thunder Cove.Formally, the base is known as Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia (the U.S. activity) or Permanent Joint Operating Base(PJOB) Diego Garcia (the UK’s term).

The United States Air Force operates an Air Force Satellite Control Network or a remote tracking station on Diego Garcia. Its call sign is REEF. This facility became more vital after the closure of the Indian Ocean Station in 1996.

The United States Air Force Operates a station of the Ground-based Electro-optical Deep Space Surveillance system on the southern end of the atoll.

Diego Garcia is one of the five control bases for the Global Positioning System, operated by the United States military.
The United States Air Force operates a High Frequency Global Communications System transceiver site located on the south end of the atoll near the GEODSS station. The transceiver is operated remotely from Joint Base Andrews and locally maintained by NCTS FE personnel.

Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Far East Detachment Diego Garcia operates a detachment in Diego Garcia. This detachment provides base telephone communications, provides base network services (Local Network Services Center), pier connectivity services, an AN/GSC-39C SHF satellite terminal, operates the Hydroacoustic Data Acquisition System, and performs on-site maintenance for the remotely operated Air Force HF-GCS terminal.

Naval Security Group detachment Diego Garcia was disestablished on September 30, 2005. Remaining essential operations were transferred to a contractor. The large AN/AX-16 High Frequency Radio direction finding Circularly Disposed Antenna Array has been demolished, but the four satellite antenna radomes around the site remain as of 2010.

Diego Garcia may be identified as an ETOPS (Extended Range Twin Engine Operations) emergency landing site (en route alternate) for flight planning purposes of commercial airliners. This allows twin-engine commercial aircraft (such as the Airbus A330, Boeing 767 or Boeing 777) to make theoretical nonstop flights between city pairs such as Perth and Dubai (9,013.61 km or 5,600.80 mi), Hong Kong and Johannesburg (10,658 km or 6,623 mi) or Singapore and São Paulo (15,985.41 km or 9,932.87 mi), all while maintaining a suitable diversion airport within 180 minutes’ flying time with one engine inoperable.
The island was one of 33 emergency landing sites worldwide for the NASA Space Shuttle. None of these facilities were ever used throughout the life of the shuttle program.

Satellite Tracking Station, Diego Garcia

A close look at the map indicates that Flight MH307 could have landed at Diego Garcia. The time required to reach there fits in with the time calculated by the satellite MH307 flew after it left Malaysian Airspace. Furthermore Diego Garcia was one of the entries in the Flight Simulator found at Pilot Zahary Ahmad Shah,s home along with Maldives, Srilanka & some Southern Indian airports. Keeping in view the sensitive sensors installed at Diego Garcia to monitor communications throughout the region & state of the art Radar unmatched by anyone in the region as well as trackers to monitor Missile & Nuclear tests. I fail to comprehend that Malaysian Airlines flight was not tracked when it flew in the region.
There are a few likely scenarios that come to mind. If MH307 had approached Diego Garcia or one of the US Naval ships in Indian Ocean then considering it to be an unidentified threat it could have been shot down by a missile.
Just like the Iran Air Flight 655 which was an Iran Air civilian passenger flight from Tehran to Dubai that was shot down by the United States Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes on 3 July 1988. All 290 on board, including 66 children and 16 crew, died. According to the Iranian government, Vincennes negligently shot down the civilian aircraft: the airliner was making IFF squawks in Mode III (not Mode II used by Iranian military planes), a signal that identified it as a civilian craft, and operators of Vincennes mistook for Mode II. The Vincennes was signaling warnings on a military channel which the civilian plane could not technically receive. Hence, the airliner was unable to respond to several requests for it to change course.
There is a possibility that US Navy has accidentally shot down a commercial plane full of Chinese citizens and considering the massive diplomatic fall out it could have ensued has chosen to remain silent. The plane could have been shot down near Diego Garcia itself which is not where anybody is searching for at the moment. A massive cover up could be underway. FBI has been tasked to recover data from computers & flight simulator of Pilot Zahary Ahmad Shah. They can in effect let information remain deleted, anything signifying his intended flight plan towards Diego Garcia. Even if as the satellite suggests a Southern route taken by the missing Airliner towards South Indian Ocean. I fail to comprehend how its plunge & sudden disappearance was missed by sophisticated radars both at Diego Garcia and at Jindalee, Western Australia. As Retired US Air Force General Thomas McInerney told Hannity on Fox News, USA is hiding something.
I agree with him US Govt is definitely hiding something and the lack of any mention of Diego Garcia by mainstream Western Media like CNN. BBC, CBS etc points to the fact that Diego Garcia is the missing piece in the jigsaw puzzle of the missing Malaysian Airline Flight 370.
China should park its satellites over Diego Garcia and focus on waters around that and Chinese Naval ships should demand access to waters near Diego Garcia to locate the missing Airliner. Malaysia & China should insist on Radar & communications data from Diego Garcia to know the fate of the plane & the missing 200 plus passengers. People on social media should put pressure on International Media to demand access from US Govt to Diego Garcia.
